Job Summary
The Security Head will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire safety and security operations of the 5-star resort property in Lonavala. The role involves ensuring a secure environment for guests, staff, and assets across the large resort premises. The incumbent will lead the security team, manage manpower, budgeting, surveillance, and safety systems, and ensure adherence to all statutory and company security protocols. The ideal candidate should have prior experience managing security for large resort or hospitality properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage complete security operations of the resort property, including checkpoints, entry/exit control, and surveillance systems.
- Develop and implement security policies, SOPs, and emergency response procedures to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property.
- Supervise, train, and deploy security personnel efficiently to ensure round-the-clock vigilance across the premises.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, security audits, and safety drills to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Manage security manpower planning, budgeting, and vendor coordination for optimal utilization of resources.
- Ensure CCTV, access control, alarm, and communication systems are properly maintained and operational.
- Coordinate with local police, fire, and emergency services whenever required.
- Conduct safety briefings, training sessions, and live demonstrations for corporate groups, guests, and staff staying or visiting the resort, ensuring they are familiar with emergency procedures and safety measures.
- Provide safety orientation and refresher training for all employees and departments.
- Investigate and document all security-related incidents and recommend corrective or preventive measures.
- Prepare and maintain security logs, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
- Oversee vehicle movement control, night patrolling, and event security management during peak seasons or special functions.
- Ensure strict adherence to all statutory, legal, and company safety regulations.

Minimum Qualification
Graduate, preferably with a Security Management Certification or Ex-Defense/Police background.
Minimum Job Experience
Minimum 812 years of experience managing security operations for large 5-star resort or hospitality properties.
