Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence Monitor surveillance cameras and control access to buildings and facilities Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and the public in a courteous manner Write detailed incident reports and log daily activities Enforce company policies and safety procedures Check and secure doors, windows, and gates Escort individuals off the property when necessary Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel if required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position preferred Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety Familiarity with report writing and security equipment (e.g., CCTV) Excellent observation skills and a high level of integrity Ability to operate security systems and emergency equipment Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for long periods Additional Requirements (Optional): Valid security guard license or certification (if required by state or country) CPR/First Aid certification is a plus Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays Let me know if you'd like to tailor this for a specific industry (e.g., hospital, retail, warehouse, construction site).
