Security Expert

As a Security Expert at our company, your role will involve planning and implementing comprehensive security policies and practices for the entire IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining network security operations on a day-to-day basis, including performing regular signature updates, managing antivirus and patch updates, and ensuring the blocking of unwanted network traffic. Additionally, you will monitor and respond to flooding, DoS, and intrusion attempts in real time during office hours. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and implement comprehensive security policies and practices for the entire IT infrastructure. - Perform regular signature updates, manage antivirus and patch updates, and ensure blocking of unwanted network traffic. - Manage and maintain network security operations on a day-to-day basis. - Monitor and respond to flooding, DoS, and intrusion attempts in real time during office hours. - Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and implement necessary preventive measures. - Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure network integrity and data protection. - Maintain updated documentation for all security configurations, incidents, and resolutions. Qualifications Required: - BE / B.Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology or related field - CISSP or equivalent Network Administrator level certification (or higher certification) As a Security Expert, you are expected to have a strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and VPNs. You should have hands-on experience in security monitoring tools and incident response management, along with proficiency in patch management, endpoint protection, and access control mechanisms. Your ability to analyze logs, identify threats, and provide corrective actions promptly will be crucial in this role. Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in critical situations are also essential for success in this position.,
