Job Description

Description We are seeking a skilled Security Engineer / Analyst to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in safeguarding our organization's data and IT infrastructure from security breaches and cyber threats. The role involves a combination of technical expertise and strategic thinking to enhance our security posture. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain security systems and protocols to protect sensitive data. Monitor and analyze security incidents and alerts to identify potential threats. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to evaluate security measures. Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard information. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations of systems and networks. Respond to security breaches and incidents, investigating and documenting findings. Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technology advancements. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5-10 years of experience in information security or a related field. Strong knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, and network security. Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software. Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS). Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and analysis. Ability to analyze security logs and reports to identify anomalies. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
