Security and Infrastructure Expert

Infrastructure Management:

•Design, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, and network devices (LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches, routers). •Manage Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V). •Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including deployment, monitoring, and cost optimization. •Ensure system uptime, performance, and scalability through proactive monitoring and maintenance. •Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions. •Coordinate with vendors for hardware, software, and network services procurement and maintenance.

Security Management:

•Implement and manage endpoint protection, antivirus, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. •Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis of systems and networks. •Develop and enforce security policies, access control, and compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2, etc.). •Manage identity and access management (IAM), including user provisioning, role-based access, and SSO. •Monitor security incidents and logs, analyze alerts, and coordinate incident response. •Ensure regular patch management, system hardening, and threat mitigation. •Conduct security audits, awareness programs, and compliance reporting.

Operations & Support:

•Provide Level 2/3 support for infrastructure and security-related incidents. •Collaborate with application, network, and database teams to ensure end-to-end system security. •Prepare and maintain infrastructure documentation, topology diagrams, and asset inventory. •Participate in IT budgeting and planning for infrastructure upgrades and cybersecurity initiatives.
