Securities & Derivatives Sr Supervisor

The Securities & Derivatives Sr Supervisor role is an intermediate management position where you will lead a team in processing orders and transactions from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. Your main goal will be to ensure the smooth delivery of securities and derivatives transactions. Your responsibilities will include resolving settlement issues, serving as a subject matter expert to interpret policies and guidelines, analyzing data for process improvement recommendations, preparing reports, and presenting findings to senior management. You will also be identifying policy gaps, formulating policies to streamline work processes, assisting in project implementation, and making recommendations for launching new products and services. Additionally, you will provide informal guidance and on-the-job training to new team members, monitor and provide solutions to minimize risks to the bank, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and supervise the activity of others to maintain high standards of conduct and business practices. To qualify for this position, you should have 2-5 years of relevant experience, previous people management experience, and demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
