Job Description

Credentials: Diploma / Graduate Chemical Engineering / Cement Technology

Responsibilities:

To lead and manage the Pyro-processing section (kiln, preheater, calciner cooler) efficiently to ensure optimum performance,
Responsible for clinker production, process stability, energy efficiency, and adherence to desired quality norms
Plan, execute, and monitor pyro section operations to achieve production, quality, and cost targets in line with budgeted numbers
Maintain process stability through close monitoring of process parameters and real-time corrective action
Drive fuel and power optimization, including maximization of alternative fuel (AFR) usage as per Dalmia Cement s sustainability goals
Ensure smooth, efficient, and reliable operation of the pyro-process with minimal downtime and process deviations by closely collaborating with maintenance quality teams
Analyze process bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions in terms of process improvement, digitalization, and energy-efficiency initiatives.
Prepare and present daily / weekly / monthly production and performance reports to the Plant Management
Ensure all pyro section operations are conducted in strict adherence to safety, environment, and emission control norms.
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) of equipment failures and support in implementation of corrective measures.
Lead, train, and motivate the CCR operators and field team for skill enhancement and a high-performance culture.
