Secondary Engineer

As a Secondary Engineer at Linxon, you will be a part of the Linxon INOPC Engineering Team, contributing to the successful execution of engineering functions within projects and tenders. Your role will involve working in a skilled team on various international T&D substation projects, focusing on HV-substation design and construction projects. You will be responsible for the project and tender engineering, ensuring that the electro-mechanical design of substations meets customer needs, legislative demands, and standards, while also ensuring project execution within budget and time with the required quality and efficiency. **Key Responsibilities:** - Responsible for Secondary engineering activities from project/tender start till the As-Built stage, adhering strictly to Project Specifications & Linxon standards, including QA/QC, HSSE & Integrity. - Coordinate with Linxon engineering team, internal & external partners, sub-suppliers, primary engineers & civil engineers. - Handle engineering for protection and control (P&C) system, Metering, SCADA, TechNet/Communication for HV and MV electric power substations. - Provide technical calculations for CT/VT sizing, Relay settings, Aux. System equipment sizing, MV/LV Cable sizing, etc. - Responsible for interface engineering of assigned equipment packages like Switchgear, Transformer, Reactors, CT/VT, Auxiliary system, etc. - Support LE for engineering-related tasks assigned. **Qualifications Required:** - Master or Bachelor's degree in an Electrical engineering discipline with experience in delivering HV Substation projects. - Minimum 10 years of substation engineering experience in Utilities or EPC companies for HV Substations. - Expert knowledge in Substation secondary design and engineering. - Awareness of Cybersecurity requirements & Digital Substation concepts. - Strong in MS Office, Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred. - German language proficiency B2/C1 level. - Fluency in English & German both written and spoken.
