Role Description

This is a contract-based hybrid role for a Search Engine Optimization Specialist located in Chennai, with flexibility for partial remote work. The SEO Specialist will focus on optimizing website performance through strategic SEO activities, conducting keyword research, performing SEO audits, and implementing on-page SEO techniques. The role also involves analyzing web traffic and trends and building high-quality backlinks to improve search engine rankings and visibility.

Qualifications

• Experience with Keyword Research and understanding of search intent
• Proficiency in conducting SEO Audits to identify improvements and optimize website performance
• Technical expertise in On-Page SEO including meta tags, headings, and content optimization
• Ability to implement effective Link Building strategies to enhance domain authority
• Knowledge and practical experience in Web Analytics to track and measure SEO performance
• Strong understanding of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Preferred: Familiarity with the creative or media production industry
