Role Overview: You will be joining Wipro Limited as an SDET-Java with a focus on software test automation utilizing Java/J2EE. Your role will involve leveraging your coding skills with Selenium WebDriver, BDD, and JavaScript to develop frameworks and conduct automation testing. You will also be responsible for API automation using RestAssured or Selenium, along with CI/CD practices utilizing Maven, GitHub, Jenkins, and TestNG. Additionally, you will work on continuous test automation using Jenkins or Azure DevOps and enabling in-sprint automation. Key Responsibilities: - Possess 5 to 10 years of experience in software test automation utilizing Java/J2EE - Demonstrate strong understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, recursive and non-recursive programming, method overloading, method overriding, ArrayList, Vector, serialization, HashSet, and more - Have a minimum of 3 years of automation experience with overall experience exceeding 5 years - Showcase deep hands-on coding skills with Selenium WebDriver, BDD, and JavaScript - Experience in framework development and API automation using RestAssured or Selenium (NOT Postman or SOAPUI) - Utilize CI/CD practices with Maven, GitHub, Jenkins, and TestNG - Enable in-sprint automation and continuous test automation using Jenkins or Azure DevOps - Familiarity with Automation Life Cycle activities and possess strong communication skills Qualifications Required: - Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software test automation with a focus on Java/J2EE - Proven experience with Selenium WebDriver, BDD, JavaScript, and framework development - Knowledge of CI/CD practices utilizing Maven, GitHub, Jenkins, and TestNG - Experience in API automation using RestAssured or Selenium - Exposure to AI/ML concepts and insights on their applicability to testing - Familiarity with non-functional testing, including performance testing, accessibility testing, and visual testing - Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices Note: Applications from people with disabilities are explicitly welcome.,
