Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Ability to design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems. Ability to plan, prioritize, estimate and execute releases with a good degree of predictability Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic Deep dive and debug production issues across services and levels of the stack when needed Brainstorm on business requirements with product/business teams Proactively inform the team when blocked which would otherwise lead to delayed delivery Technical capabilities: 3-5 years of professional software development experience Strong DS/Algo concepts with a knack of looking out for edge cases Strong technical thinking and demonstrated ability to lead software design and coding in at least one of the programming languages from Java/Ruby. Open to switching languages as per need of the project Working knowledge of databases like MySQL, Mongo, Solr, Redis, Aerospike, and Kafka is preferred Experience building software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Practiced ability to apply API design principles. Drive to solve consumer problems. Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering Show more Show less
