SDE 2 Backend

Role Overview: As a Software Development Engineer III at Hiver, you will have a critical role in building and scaling the product to thousands of users globally. You will be working on complex technical challenges such as making the architecture scalable, building frameworks to monitor and improve system performance, and enhancing reliability and performance. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of experience in scaling backend systems. - Mandatory minimum 1 year of experience in Ruby on Rails (ROR). - Proficiency in working on microservices and event-driven architecture. - Experience with technologies like Kafka in building data pipelines with high data volume. - Enjoyment and experience in building Lean APIs and efficient backend services. - Strong ability to think about systems and services and write high-quality code. - Extensive experience with SQL databases, understanding of NoSQL databases and Caches. - Experience deploying applications on the cloud, preferably on AWS, with experience on other cloud providers like GCP, Azure being a plus. - High standards in working with production systems and holding self and others to a high bar. - Track record of successful project completion involving various technologies and systems. - Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with diverse stakeholders and expertise.
