As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in facilitating and supporting a software development team in diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory. Your responsibilities will include: - Having a First level Scrum Master certification (PSM I/CSM) and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Scrum Master role within a software development team. - Working in a SAFe environment on at least three Program Increments (PIs) and understanding how the SAFe team is structured to effectively apply the SAFe framework and team rules. - Collaborating with other Scrum Masters to enhance the application of Scrum within the organization. - Demonstrating strong skills in facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and transparency. - Applying various well-documented patterns and techniques to address gaps in the Scrum approach. - Utilizing oral and written communication skills effectively. - Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Confluence, MS Teams, and SharePoint. - Upholding Scrum values including commitment, focus, openness, respect, and courage. Preferred qualifications for this role may include: - SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification. - Knowledge of other Agile approaches like Kanban, XP, Crystal, FDD, etc. - Familiarity with successful Agile techniques such as User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, and Agile Games. - Previous experience as a team lead.
