Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Manage the complete scrap handling process, including collection, sorting, storage, and disposal.
Conduct bidding processes and negotiate with dealers to secure the best price for scrap material.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable scrap dealers to ensure smooth and cost-effective transactions.
Oversee vehicle movement and logistics for timely scrap pickup and delivery.
Ensure accurate scrap segregation as per material type, quality, and internal standards.
Maintain proper records of scrap quantity, sale value, dealer performance, and vehicle tracking.
Coordinate with production, warehouse, and accounts teams for scrap updates and documentation.
Ensure safety and compliance with environmental and company guidelines.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong knowledge of scrap categories and segregation methods.
Experience in bidding, negotiation, and vendor management.
Good understanding of vehicle movement planning and logistics.
Strong decision-making and analytical skills.
Record-keeping ability.
