Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Stores Executive to join our Ortho-One. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling medical stores in a hospital setting. The role involves various responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of the medical store, inventory management, and timely delivery of medical items to different departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, tracking price changes, handling damaged items, and processing returns.
  • Maintain accurate records, reorder stock, place products on shelves, and remove expired items.
  • Perform regular stock checks and monitor inventory levels.
  • Ensure quality and quantity of goods received from suppliers, and store them properly.
  • Keep the medical store clean, organized, and well-maintained.
  • Record all received items with Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).
  • Manage the Indent Process and ensure timely delivery of items to departments.
  • Follow up regularly on implant bills and ensure prompt processing.
  • Collect expired items from departments and return them to suppliers.
  • Reconcile stock with the accounts department regularly.
  • Submit reports on stock status and inventory levels.
  • Handle Credit Note entries and follow up on related issues.
  • Work with the purchase department to ensure smooth store operations.

Candidate Profile

  • Education

    : D.Pharm or Equivalent
  • Experience

    :
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in hospital medical stores.
    • Experience in orthopaedics is preferable.
    • Experience in handling implants is an added advantage.
  • Skills

    :
    • Strong knowledge of medical supplies, implants, and hospital inventory management.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Ability to handle medical items with care and accuracy.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Attention to detail and precision in inventory management.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
    • Familiarity with medical store software and inventory management systems.
