Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune for a Scopist. The Scopist will be responsible for transcribing, editing, and formatting legal, medical, or other types of transcripts. Daily tasks include reviewing rough transcripts, ensuring accuracy and grammatical correctness, and formatting documents as per specified standards. The position requires close attention to legal and technical terminologies and collaboration with transcriptionists and other team members to meet deadlines and deliver quality output.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in transcription, editing, and formatting documents
• Keen eye for detail with strong proofreading and grammar skills
• Familiarity with legal, medical, or technical terminologies
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain high accuracy standards under time constraints
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in using transcription software and tools is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Law, Healthcare, or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience as a Scopist or in transcription-related roles is beneficial
