SCM SPECIALIST

Role Overview: You are being hired as a SCM Specialist for a German based client in the manufacturing industry located in Pune. Your main responsibility will be to oversee and manage the company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations. It will involve optimizing processes, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of fire safety products and services. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives. - Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and increased efficiency. - Forecast demand and plan supply chain activities accordingly. - Manage logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution. - Coordinate with third-party logistics providers to optimize shipping and delivery processes. - Monitor and improve logistics performance metrics. - Implement and oversee inventory management systems and practices. - Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs. - Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies. - Analyse supply chain data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. - Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance and key performance indicators (KPIs). - Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning. - Identify and mitigate supply chain risks. - Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - 5-7 years of working experience. - Fluent in English & Hindi.
