Science/Math Teacher - Middle School

Role Overview: As a Subject Teacher for the Middle School department at our school in Borivali, your primary purpose will be to provide instruction, guidance, and support to students in specific subject areas. You will be responsible for designing and delivering lessons, assessing students" progress, providing feedback, and facilitating learning experiences to help students develop knowledge, skills, and understanding. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure that the lesson plan prepared is followed along with the mentioned resources and activities. - Create a safe and productive learning environment for all students. - Utilize effective pedagogical styles to cater to different aptitudes, learning styles, and interests of the students. Student Administration: - Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's rules and disciplinary systems. - Encourage maximum student participation and help students improve their study habits. Classroom Functioning: - Establish an effective learning environment through functional and attractive displays, bulletin boards, and interest centers. - Maintain a positive and professional relationship with parents and provide them with feedback. Secondary Responsibility - Administration / School Policies: - Compile, maintain, and ensure confidentiality of school records. - Adhere to all school policies and actively implement them. - Conduct quarterly stock checks of teaching aids along with the coordinator. - Participate in professional development activities such as courses, seminars, conferences, and events. - Attend all meetings convened by the principal and coordinators. - Collaborate with resource persons and others as needed. Work Relations: - Interface with the Principal for academic-related issues. - Collaborate with co-teachers and other staff members as required. - Engage with Admin, Finance, HR, and Technology departments for operational issues. Qualifications Required: - Post Graduate Degree/B.
