Art Teacher

A VIBGYOR Art Teacher delivers art curriculum for primary or secondary school students, fostering creativity and artistic expression through various art forms and mediums. They integrate art with other subjects, assess student progress, and create a positive learning environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development and Delivery: Develop and implement engaging art lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum and age-appropriate standards.
• Artistic Skills Instruction: Teach foundational art skills like drawing, painting, sculpting, and other visual art forms.
• Creativity and Expression: Encourage students' creativity, self-expression, and exploration of different artistic mediums.
• Art History and Appreciation: Introduce students to art history, diverse art traditions, and influential artists.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Assessment and Feedback: Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and communicate with parents/guardians.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate art with other subjects.
• Exhibitions and Events: Organize art exhibitions, displays, and events to showcase student work.
• Professional Development: Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in art education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or a related field (B.Ed. preferred).
• Experience teaching art to primary or secondary school students.
• Strong understanding of child-centered pedagogy and art integration techniques.
• Proficiency in various art forms, such as drawing, painting, and sculpting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
