Job Description

As a Science Lab Assistant Resident at the International School in Yercaud, your role will involve various responsibilities to ensure the smooth functioning of the laboratory. You will: - Prepare samples for testing using a range of laboratory equipment. - Maintain meticulous records of all laboratory activities. - Adhere to correct procedures, policies, and health and safety regulations. - Perform laboratory tests, analyze results, and accurately document findings. - Stay updated on the latest industry trends, techniques, and best practices. - Document all your activities, results, and provide regular reports to the management. - Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of equipment and work areas. - Collect and prepare research materials and information required for studies. - Classify and label samples accurately. - Handle basic administrative tasks such as filing and answering telephones. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in medical technology, biology, or a relevant field. - Minimum 2 to 7 years of experience in a similar laboratory role. - Proficiency in laboratory information systems and automated laboratory equipment. - Strong critical thinking skills with keen attention to detail. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Exceptional analytical abilities. Please note that this is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, and the work location is in person at the International School in Yercaud.,
