Science Lab Assistant

As a Lab Assistant at our company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Science Department by setting up and taking down lab equipment, assisting teachers during experiments, and ensuring the laboratories are organized and tidy. Your responsibilities will include: - Labeling, organizing, and safely storing chemicals and materials, while being mindful of safety protocols - Mixing chemicals needed for experiments and ensuring proper storage and disposal of chemical compounds and waste - Cleaning and storing glassware to maintain a safe laboratory environment - Checking and maintaining the working condition of all lab equipment, storing them safely, and conducting periodic inventories - Collaborating with teachers to prepare chemical orders, submitting them to the Purchasing Department, and verifying orders upon delivery - Keeping track of resource inventory to ensure availability for experiments The qualifications required for this role include a B.Sc. and/or M.Sc. in Chemistry.
