Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, set up, and organize laboratory equipment, materials, and chemicals for experiments and practical sessions.
Assist teachers/faculty during laboratory classes, demonstrations, and student experiments.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and disposal of chemicals, biological samples, and other laboratory materials.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory at all times.
Calibrate, clean, and carry out minor repairs of laboratory instruments and equipment.
Maintain inventory of lab supplies and request replenishments as needed.
Monitor and enforce health & safety standards, ensuring students follow laboratory rules.
Support in recording data, preparing experiment sheets, and maintaining lab records.
Assist in setting up exhibitions, science fairs, and related events.
Report damages, breakages, or potential hazards to the concerned authority.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or related field).
Prior experience as a lab assistant/technician preferred.
Knowledge of laboratory equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Good communication skills to assist students and staff.
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
