Key Responsibilities:

Academic Leadership:

• Provide leadership in curriculum planning, teaching methodology, and student assessment.
• Ensure effective implementation of CBSE/ICSE/IB/State curriculum and compliance with education board guidelines.
• Promote innovation in teaching, integration of technology, and activity-based learning.
• Foster student performance in academics, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities.

Administrative & Management:

• Oversee daily school operations, staff management, and infrastructure.
• Handle recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of teachers and staff.
• Implement policies for discipline, safety, and well-being of students and staff.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation, and financial planning for the school.

Community Engagement:

• Maintain healthy communication with parents, school management, and external stakeholders.
• Organize PTMs, workshops, seminars, and cultural events to strengthen school-community relationships.
• Represent the school at official events, conferences, and inter-school activities.

Strategic Growth:

• Develop and execute strategies for academic improvement and institutional growth.
• Ensure the school meets regulatory, accreditation, and affiliation requirements.
• Lead initiatives for branding, admissions, and school reputation building.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Education or related field
• B.Ed mandatory for most boards.
• Minimum 10–15 years of teaching experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role (Vice Principal / Headmistress / Principal).
• Strong knowledge of school administration, academic frameworks, and compliance norms.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to inspire teachers, motivate students, and collaborate with parents and management.
