Job Title: School Coordinator (Administration) Location: New Modern School, Kamand, District Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand Job Type: Full-time Industry: Education Salary: As per industry standards and school’s current financial capacity Experience Required: 2–5 years (preferred in school/education sector) Education Qualification: Graduate (Mandatory); B.Ed. or Master's degree preferred Local candidates from Tehri Garhwal district will be given preference. Job Summary: New Modern School, Kamand is seeking a dedicated and self-motivated School Coordinator (Admin) to oversee the day-to-day administrative functions of the school. The ideal candidate must be organised, tech-savvy, and capable of handling all school operations efficiently. As the school is currently operating with limited revenue, we seek someone who understands the nuances of cost-effective management and community engagement. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily school operations and ensure smooth administrative functioning. Maintain student attendance, staff attendance, and school records (digital and physical). Act as the primary point of contact between management, staff, and parents. Coordinate academic calendars, exams, PTMs, and extracurricular events. Supervise non-teaching staff such as clerks, helpers, and guards. Liaise with education department authorities, vendors, and local bodies when required. Manage admissions, enrolments, and student documentation. Assist the principal in implementing school policies and ensuring regulatory compliance. Help promote a positive school culture and discipline across stakeholders. Maintain communication with teachers regarding schedules, resources, and updates. Desired Candidate Profile: Strong administrative and organisational skills. Proficient in MS Office and capable of using basic school management software. Should have RTE related information and all the norms set up by the GOI or State Govt. Ability to handle responsibilities independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills in both Hindi and English. Honest, punctual, and community-driven. Prior experience in a rural or semi-urban school setup is a strong advantage. Why Join Us?
