Job Description

We're hiring a passionate school admin staff member who is responsible for managing day-to-day administrative operations related to fee collection, record maintenance, accounts, inventory, and parent interactions. This role supports the smooth functioning of the school’s non-academic affairs and serves as a critical point of contact for staff and parents regarding various school services. Key Responsibilities: Fee & Accounts Management: Collect and record student fees accurately every month. Maintain up-to-date fee registers and computerised fee records. Issue fee receipts and maintain proper documentation. Track and follow up on fee dues; send reminders to parents as needed. Manage accounts related to income and expenses. Prepare monthly and annual financial reports in coordination with the accountant. Assist with salary processing for teaching and non-teaching staff. Bookkeeping & Inventory: Maintain ledgers and account books related to daily transactions. Monitor and manage school inventory, including stationery, office supplies, and maintenance items. Prepare and maintain purchase orders and stock records. Transport & Bus Handling: Handle inquiries related to bus routes, timings, and transportation fees. Coordinate with bus drivers and attendants for efficient transport management. Maintain transport records, including route-wise student lists and bus fee collections. Parent & Public Interaction: Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally. Address parent inquiries related to fees, transportation, and general school operations. Provide regular reminders to parents regarding dues, events, or administrative updates. Staff & Office Management: Coordinate the work schedules and performance of non-teaching staff. Ensure the smooth operation of the school office on a day-to-day basis. Maintain confidentiality and proper filing of sensitive school records. Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Prior experience in school administration or accounting is an advantage. Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic accounting software. Good interpersonal and communication skills (English & local language). Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
