Job Description

The S&C GN - SC&O - SCM Planning - OMP Consultant will be responsible for supporting and optimizing the supply chain management (SCM) planning processes within the organization, specifically focusing on the Operations Management Planning (OMP) framework. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance demand forecasting, inventory management, and production scheduling to drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain SCM planning strategies in alignment with business objectives.
Collaborate with supply chain, production, and logistics teams to optimize OMP processes.
Analyze demand patterns and forecast requirements to ensure accurate planning.
Monitor inventory levels, production schedules, and order fulfillment to prevent shortages or excess.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline SCM processes and reduce operational costs.
Prepare reports and dashboards to track SCM KPIs and provide insights to stakeholders.
Liaise with external suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Assist in the implementation of SCM software/tools to enhance planning capabilities.
Provide training and guidance to junior staff on SCM planning best practices.
