Job Description

Role & responsibilities

SAP WM Configuration & Support

Configure and customize SAP WM modules to support warehouse processes like putaway, picking, packing, and physical inventory.
Manage warehouse structure setup (storage types, bins, sections, etc.).

SAP LE Logistics Execution

Implement and support LE functionalities including inbound/outbound delivery processing, shipment creation, and transportation planning.
Integrate LE with WM, SD (Sales & Distribution), and MM (Materials Management) modules.

Inventory Management

Ensure accurate inventory tracking through cycle counting, stock transfers, and adjustments.
Optimize inventory levels to support retail operations and reduce shrinkage.

RF and Barcode Integration

Implement and support RF (Radio Frequency) solutions for real-time warehouse operations.
Integrate barcode scanning for goods movement and inventory accuracy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with business users, supply chain teams, and IT to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Provide training and documentation for end-users and support teams.

Testing and Deployment

Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Support go-live activities and post-implementation stabilization.

Continuous Improvement

Analyze existing warehouse and logistics processes to identify areas for improvement.
Recommend and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Preferred candidate profile

Professional Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP WM and LE modules.
Proven track record of implementing and supporting end-to-end warehouse and logistics processes.
Experience in retail, FMCG, or manufacturing industries preferred.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of SAP WM configuration (storage types, strategies, putaway/picking, etc.).
Expertise in SAP LE processes including inbound/outbound delivery, shipment processing, and transportation planning.
Familiarity with RF (Radio Frequency) integration and barcode scanning solutions.
Experience with IDocs, BAPIs, and user exits/enhancements in WM/LE.

Functional Skills

Deep understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics execution.
Ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
Experience in cross-functional integration with MM, SD, and EWM (if applicable).

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Additional Preferences

Experience with S/4HANA is a plus.
Exposure to Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
Willingness to travel or work in shifts, if required by the project.
