Job Description

About The Role

Work on all phases of SAP TM (Transportation Management) implementation, including blueprinting, gap analysis, mapping, prototypes, design, development, testing, go-live, user training, and post-production support.

Collaborate with technology organization and business representatives to determine business processes and solution design leveraging the capabilities of SAP TM.

Provide expertise in the development of best practices in SAP TM.

Participate in product and services development to augment or enhance SAP TM and interfaced systems.

Should have implemented SAP S4 Embedded TM in a side-car scenario.

Experience with core TM business processes configuration, including Inbound and Outbound Shipments (Domestic and International), Transportation Planning, LTL vs. FTL Planning, Load Determination & Pool Distribution, Freight Tendering, Subcontracting, Event Tracking & Monitoring, and Ocean Carrier scenarios (Door to Door / Port to Port / Port to Door).

Hands-on knowledge of SAP TM Master Data, including Product, Business Partner, Dangerous Goods, Transportation Network (Locations, Routes, and Zones), and Resources (Vehicles, Trailers, Handling Units).

Should have worked on shipper scenarios with all modes of transportRoad, Ocean, Air, Rail, and Inland Waterways.

Experience working on LSP scenario is a plus.

Experience with Ocean & Air Freight Order Transportation Planning (Freight Units, Freight Proposals, and Freight Orders).
