Job Description

Technical Solution Architect SAP (BTP, Integration, Cloud, Security, Basis Architecture)

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

Technical Architecture & Platform Design

Define end-to-end SAP technical architecture across S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SaaS applications, and non-SAP systems.
Design landscape topology, system sizing, network connectivity, security layers, and integration patterns.
Lead cloud migration, brownfield/greenfield transformation, and modernization initiatives on RISE with SAP.

BTP & Extensibility

Architect BTP solutions including:

Workflow, SAP Build, Automation
In-app & side-by-side extensibility
ABAP Cloud(high-level technical guidance)

Ensure clean core compliance and cloud-native extension strategy.

Integration Architecture

Design integration using SAP Integration Suite (CPI), API Management, Event Mesh, and hybrid integration models.
Define standards for OData/REST/SOAP APIs, IDocs, RFC, and event-driven communication.
Create integration of architecture blueprints and mapping guidelines.

Security, Compliance & Performance

Define SAP security architecture: Identity Access Management, authentication, authorizations, SSO, IAS/IPS.
Ensure compliance with SAP cloud security standards.
Lead performance optimization, scalability planning, and system reliability strategies.

Technical Governance

Provide technical leadership across build, testing, deployment, and cutover.
Review custom code, extensions, interface design, and technical specifications.
Work closely with Basis, Network, Cloud, Security, and Infrastructure teams.

SaaS & Multi-Cloud Expertise

Design technical integrations with SAP SaaS applications (SuccessFactors, Ariba, IBP, DMC, Fieldglass, Concur).
Architect hybrid cloud setups with AWS, Azure, or GCP (networking, security, connectivity).

Required Skills & Experience

1015+ years of SAP technical/Basis/architecture experience.
Strong expertise in SAP BTP, Integration Suite, APIs, and cloud extensibility.
Experience designing S/4HANA system landscapes in Public Cloud and Private Cloud.
Strong understanding of SAP security, IAS/IPS, identity federation, and compliance.
Proven experience in integration architecture and performance tuning.
Experience with RISE with SAP migrations and cloud transition programs.

Preferred Qualifications

SAP certifications (BTP, Integration Suite, S/4HANA Technical, Security).
Experience with SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Solution Manager.
Exposure to containerization, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or Git-enabled transports.
Experience working with multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
