SAP SAC Planning Solution Specialist

Responsible for the design, integrity and quality of our D&A solution. Design solution on the Finance Snowflake platform which will support business or function requirements. Responsible that the Finance solution/service provides the required functionality and meets the cost expectations of business. Collaborates with and contributes to project set-up and delivery as well as to service operations optimization.

This role is contributing to the Finance Services business Finance Process Data Systems division in Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Planning Model Development: Develop and maintain SAC Planning models and stories to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Ensure solutions meet business requirements and are scalable. Requirements Gathering & Implementation: Collaborate with Finance teams (FP&A, Controlling, Accounting) to gather planning requirements and implement them through SAC Planning applications.
• Data Integration & Validation: Support integration between SAC Planning and SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, and external systems. Ensure data quality and accuracy through validation and reconciliation processes. User Support & Training Assistance: Provide first-level support to end-users on SAC Planning functionalities. Assist in preparing training materials and conduct sessions on effective use of planning tools.
• Testing & Validation: Participate in testing activities for new developments and enhancements. Support validation processes to ensure accurate and reliable planning results. Documentation & Continuous Improvement: Maintain updated documentation of SAC Planning models, calculation
• logics, and process flows. Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to solution enhancements. Collaboration: Work under the guidance of solution architects to build technical capabilities and ensure alignment of planning solutions with enterprise objectives.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications in SAP Analytics Cloud Planning or equivalent SAP modules are preferred. 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience in financial planning and performance management, with hands-on experience in SAC Planning.
• Proficiency in developing SAC Planning models, stories, and input forms, including advanced formulas and allocation processes. Familiarity with integration to SAP BW/4HANA and S/4HANA.Understanding of financial planning processes, key
• performance indicators, and business reporting requirements. Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. A proactive, learning-oriented attitude with the ability to work under guidance in a dynamic team environment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Experience in supporting large-scale finance transformation projects is a plus. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
