SAP S/4 HANA ABAP consultant

Key Responsibilities

Job Description / Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize ABAP programs, CDS views, and OData services in S/4HANA.
• Build and expose OData services for integration with Fiori/UI5 applications and external systems.
• Enhance and customize standard SAP functionality using modern ABAP techniques.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and debugging of custom developments.
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and coding standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong expertise in:

Core Data Services (CDS Views) – creation, annotations, associations, and consumption.
OData Services – development, extension, and integration with SAP Fiori/UI5.

• Proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP, Enhancements, BADIs, User Exits, and BAPIs.
• Good understanding of S/4HANA data models and performance-optimized coding.
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments is a plus.

Nice-to-Have

• Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
• Knowledge of AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) and HANA SQL scripting.
• Familiarity with integration scenarios (Gateway, REST, SOAP, RFCs).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 per year
