Job Description

Role Overview

SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant

Key Responsibilities

Understand business requirements and translate them into SAP PP solutions.
Configure SAP PP components including Work Centers, BOMs, Routings, MRP, and Production Orders.
Ensure smooth integration of SAP PP with modules like MM, SD, and QM.
Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
Conduct testing activities: Unit, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing.
Prepare detailed functional specifications and user documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end SAP implementations.
Deliver user training sessions and post-implementation support.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
47 years of hands-on experience with SAP PP module.
Strong knowledge of production planning, shop floor execution, and MRP strategies.
Experience in discrete manufacturing environments preferred.
Familiarity with integration points between PP and other SAP modules.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environment.
Experience in PP-PI or SAP APO/IBP will be an added advantage.
Involvement in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project.
