Sap Pp Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP module implementation, configuration, and support. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of production planning, material requirement planning (MRP), shop floor control, and integration with other SAP modules. Key Responsibilities • SAP PP Implementation & Support: Configure and implement SAP PP solutions in line with business processes and industry best practices. • Business Process Understanding: Work closely with business users to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring optimal SAP PP configurations. • Configuration & Customization: Set up and maintain SAP PP master data, bill of materials (BOM), routing, work centers, production orders, and MRP processes. • Integration with Other SAP Modules: Ensure smooth integration with SAP MM, SD, QM, and FI modules. • Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting: Provide Level 2/3 support, analyze issues, debug transactions, and apply fixes in SAP PP. • Testing & Documentation: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring proper documentation of business processes. • End-User Training: Train business users on SAP PP functionalities and best practices. • Process Optimization: Continuously identify areas for improvement and recommend SAP PP enhancements. Skills and Qualifications : • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP module. • Strong understanding of production planning, MRP, shop floor control, capacity planning, and discrete/repetitive manufacturing processes. • Experience with SAP PP master data management (BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Production Versions). • Knowledge of demand planning, production execution, and inventory management processes. • Ability to configure SAP PP functionalities as per business requirements. • Understanding of integration with SAP MM, SD, QM, and FI modules. • Strong troubleshooting and issue-resolution skills in SAP PP. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills: • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori apps is an advantage. • Knowledge of advanced planning tools (APO, IBP) is a plus. • Familiarity with SAP PP-PM (Plant Maintenance) integration. • SAP PP Certification is a plus.
