Sap Mm Consultant

• Purpose :-This role is to manage efficiently SAP operations as per business requirement and for growth strategies at Head office and its other locations. Overall SAP support for Purchase, Quality and Inventory management

Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of SAP MM module, including purchasing, inventory management,

vendor management, and pricing procedures.

• Familiarity with other SAP modules like FI/CO, SD, and PP for integration purposes.
• Provide day to day support to end users
• Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
• Providing technical and functional support to users of the SAP Materials Management (MM)

module.

• Configuring the system based on business needs
• Identify and diagnose issues related to SAP MM functionalities, including purchase orders,

goods receipts, inventory levels, vendor master data, and pricing conditions.

• Analyze root causes of problems and implement corrective actions.
• Configure SAP MM module based on business requirements, including customizing master

data (materials, vendors, purchasing info records) and system settings.

• Provide first-line support to end-users on SAP MM functionalities.
• Conduct training sessions on new features and best practices for efficient use of the SAP MM

module

• Create user guides and documentation for reference.
• Identify areas for improvement and suggest system enhancements to optimize workflows.
• Ensuring smooth operation of procurement, inventory management, and vendor management
• processes within an organization
• Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues
• Document functional designs, test cases and results

Work Experience and Skills:

3 to 5 years of experience in Manufacturing /IT industry, having exposure SAP system. Supervisory experience of working in SAP manufacturing and related industry. Good knowledge of standards of equipments and technical expertise, team collaboration and decision-making skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and documentation
• Strong analytical skills and a data driven mindset

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and people skills

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma or Degree in IT

• SAP Certificate would be an added advantage
