SAP MDG Functional Consultant (MM)

Job Title: MDG Functional Consultant SAP MMLocation: ITPL, Bengaluru (Hybrid 3 days/week from office)Experience: 7+ YearsJob Summary:We are looking for a seasoned SAP MDG Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP MM (Material Management) to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing master data governance solutions, ensuring alignment with business processes and compliance standards. This role requires deep functional knowledge of SAP MDG and MM, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead functional design and implementation of SAP MDG solutions, with a focus on MM domain.Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of MDG with SAP MM and other modules.Configure and customise SAP MDG to support master data processes for materials.Conduct workshops, training sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT).Provide ongoing support and enhancements for SAP MDG-MM solutions.Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across master data domains.Document functional designs, process flows, and configuration details.Mandatory Skills:Strong functional expertise in SAP MDG with hands-on experience in Material Master (MM) domain.Proven experience in SAP MM processes including procurement, inventory management, and material master data.Experience in SAP MDG configuration, data modelling, and process design.Understanding of data governance principles and master data lifecycle.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.Preferred Skills:Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and its integration with MDG.Familiarity with workflow design and BRF+ in MDG.Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project tracking tools.Experience in cross-functional SAP modules (e.g., SD, FI, WM).Qualifications:Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.7+ years of experience in SAP functional consulting, with a focus on MDG and MM.SAP certifications in MDG or MM are a plus.
