SAP Master data governance + ABAP Techno functional consultant

We are actively hiring for SAP MDG + ABAP techno functional consultant with 6- 10 years of experience

Job summary-

Key Responsibilities

• Work as a

  Techno-Functional SME

  in SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) implementations and support projects.
• Lead

  requirement gathering workshops

  with business stakeholders for master data objects (Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, Business Partner, etc.).
• Design and configure

  SAP MDG data models, UI, process flows, and validations

  .
• Develop and customize solutions using

  ABAP, BADI implementations, BRF+, Workflow, and Data Replication Framework (DRF)

  .
• Build

  interfaces/integration

  with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and non-SAP systems.
• Implement

  data quality, validation, and cleansing rules

  in MDG.
• Support

  data migration and conversion activities

  including

  MDG Data Import (File/IDoc/Direct Input methods)

  .
• Collaborate with

  functional teams (MM, SD, FI/CO, HCM, etc.)

  to align MDG with end-to-end business processes.
• Provide

  technical design documents, functional specifications, and unit testing

  for custom developments.
• Ensure

  performance optimization, troubleshooting, and defect resolution

  in MDG applications.
• Conduct

  end-user training

  and prepare

  support documentation

  .

Required Technical Skills

SAP MDG Functional Skills

• Strong experience in

  SAP MDG 8.0/9.0/1909/2020/2021 (S/4HANA)

  .
• Expertise in

  MDG domains

  :
• Business Partner (Customer/Vendor/Employee)
  
• Material Master
  
• Finance Master Data (GL, Cost Center, Profit Center, etc.)
  
• Data Modeling in MDG:
  

• Data Model extensions, entity types, relationships, and attributes

• UI modeling (FPM/Floorplan Manager)

• Change Request (CR) workflows

• Business Rules Framework (BRF+) for

  validations, derivations, and decision tables

  .

• DRF (Data Replication Framework)

  : configuration, key mapping, and value mapping.
• Understanding of

  Data Quality & Data Stewardship processes

  .

ABAP Technical Skills

• Core ABAP

  : Reports, Enhancements, BAPIs, BADIs, Function Modules, User Exits.

• ABAP on HANA

  : CDS Views, AMDPs, performance tuning.

• OData Services

  for MDG Fiori apps.
• Workflow development and enhancement.
  
• Data migration tools:

  LSMW, BDC, IDocs, ALE, SLT, BODS

  integration with MDG.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
  

Integration & Tools

• Experience with

  SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI

  middleware integration.
• Exposure to

  SAP Information Steward, SAP Data Services (BODS)

  for cleansing and enrichment.
• MDG-Fiori applications: configuration & customization.
  

Experience & Qualifications

• 712 years

  of total SAP experience with at least

  4–6 years in SAP MDG

  .
• Hands-on

  techno-functional expertise

  in SAP MDG with ABAP development background.
• Prior experience in

  end-to-end MDG implementation projects

  (at least 2 full cycles).
• Strong knowledge of

  S/4HANA environment

  .
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  
• Excellent communication, client-facing, and problem-solving skills.

• Exposure to

  MDG Consolidation and Mass Processing

• Knowledge of

  SAP MDM

• Experience with
