Job Purpose
This role plays a key role in managing, validating, and maintaining high-quality master data across our SAP ERP, enabling smooth business operations across divisions. The role focuses on data accuracy, process compliance, timely execution of service requests, and supporting improvements in data governance and quality. The analyst will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and contribute to advanced data management and reporting initiatives using tools like SQL and Power BI.
Main Responsibilities
End-to-end master data lifecycle processes (create, update, extend, block, delete) for data objects including Customer, Vendor, Material, Pricing, Employee Master, and more. Ensure timely execution of requests submitted through tickets (ITSM), Microsoft Lists, or SAP-integrated workflows, meeting agreed SLA targets. Support replication of data between ERP systems for commercialization, plant/sales org extensions, and other activities. Validate requests for completeness, compliance, and accuracy; coordinate with business requestors for clarifications or missing info. Execute mass uploads using tools like Winshuttle or standard SAP utilities (e.g., LSMW) for materials, customers, pricing, etc. Troubleshoot data-related issues in collaboration with functional and technical teams. Leverage SQL to extract, query, and validate SAP table data for audits, reports, and issue investigation. Assist in building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor volumes, KPIs, and data quality metrics. Document processes and keep internal guidelines and knowledge bases up to date. Actively contribute to data quality initiatives and continuous improvement projects. Support testing, validation, and go-live activities during SAP projects, rollouts, or enhancements involving master data. To Succeed, You Will Need
Education Level:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Work Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP ERP master data operations. Hands-on experience with SAP data entry transactions, table structures, and object dependencies.
IT Skills:
Good understanding of master data structures and dependencies in SAP. Working knowledge of SQL (basic queries, joins, filters, aggregations). Basic Power BI skills ability to create simple reports and visuals. Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira). Comfortable with MS Excel, SharePoint, Teams. Prior exposure to Winshuttle, Pronovia or other SAP automation tools.
Other Skills:
Experience with all SAP Modules related to Material Master, Customer Master, Vendor Master & others. Understanding of the structure of data used in SAP reference data as well as awareness of the effect s changes may have. Attention to detail and data accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and timely manner. Collaborative mindset and ability to work with remote/global teams.
