**Role Overview:** As part of a team, you will be responsible for performing analysis, design, implementation, unit tests, and code reviews. Your role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, managers, and fellow developers to devise solutions for business challenges. You will translate functional requirements into detailed designs, provide development effort estimates, implement proof of concept, prototypes, and production-grade software, as well as write unit tests. Additionally, you will support Avantor's internal and global web applications for enhancements and break-fix activities. Your tasks will include preparing reports or correspondence related to project specifications, activities, or status, and delivering against specific timescales. You will work in a collaborative team environment, bringing a strong and innovative approach to problem-solving and solution-finding. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with business representatives, system analysts, managers, and other stakeholders. Your ability to comprehend business needs and concerns and incorporate this understanding into design and implementation processes will be crucial for success in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform analysis, design, implementation, unit tests, and code reviews - Collaborate with business stakeholders, managers, and developers to create solutions for business problems - Translate functional requirements into conceptual and detailed designs - Provide estimates for development effort - Implement proof of concept, prototypes, and production-grade software - Write unit tests - Support Avantor's internal and global web applications for enhancements and break-fix - Prepare reports or correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, or status - Deliver against specific timescales - Work in a collaborative team environment - Bring a strong and innovative approach to problem solving - Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills - Communicate effectively with business representatives, system analysts, managers, etc. - Comprehend business needs and concerns and integrate that understanding into design and implementation **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience and/or certificates - 5+ years of E-Commerce development with at least 3 years in SAP Hybris Commerce / SAP Cloud Commerce - Hands-on Experience on Hybris Core Architecture, Cockpits, Impex, SmartEdit, and PCM/Backoffice Customization - Knowledge of Spartacus, Zul backend development, Solr - Proficiency in Java, J2EE (Servlets, JSP, JDBC, JMS, Transactions), Restful API, JSON, XML/XSLT, JavaScript - Experience with open-source tools and frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, ANT, MAVEN, JUNIT - Good knowledge and understanding of DOM, HTML, CSS, JavaScript OOP, MVC, Responsive, Javascript/Jquery, and object-oriented concepts - Experience with Application Servers like JBOSS, Tomcat - Familiarity with working on Apache/Nginx - Knowledge and understanding of relational database structure and design using Azure Sql, Oracle 11G & PostgreSql **Role Overview:** As part of a team, you will be responsible for performing analysis, design, implementation, unit tests, and code reviews.
