Job Summary:

SAP HCM Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements related to

  payroll processes

  , focusing on compliance with

  German payroll legislation

  .
• Configure, implement, and maintain

  SAP HCM PY-DE (German Payroll)

  components, including schemas, rules, wage types, and PCRs.
• Support

  monthly payroll runs

  , year-end activities (LStA, SV, ELStAM), and statutory reporting (e.g., DEV, Lohnsteuerbescheinigung, ELENA).
• Collaborate with

  HR and Finance teams

  to streamline payroll and time management processes.
• Perform

  system testing

  , issue resolution, and change management for German payroll-related enhancements.
• Keep updated with

  German legal changes

  and translate them into system adjustments.
• Support integration with

  Time Management (PT)

  and

  Personnel Administration (PA)

  modules.
• Deliver

  training and documentation

  for end-users and HR teams.
• Assist in

  payroll audits

  and support internal/external auditors with required information.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years

  of experience as an SAP HCM Functional Consultant with a focus on

  German Payroll (PY-DE)

  .
• Deep understanding of German payroll legal framework and statutory reporting.
  
• Hands-on experience in

  schema and PCR modifications

  .
• Experience with integration between

  Payroll

  ,

  Time Management

  , and

  PA

  modules.
• Strong knowledge of

  HR business processes

  and payroll lifecycle.
• Ability to

  analyze, troubleshoot

  , and resolve payroll-related issues.
• Excellent communication skills in

  English

  ;

  German language skills

  are highly preferred (B2 or above).
• Experience working with

  SAP ECC / S/4HANA HCM

  environments.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with

  SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll

  or hybrid landscapes.
• Familiarity with

  SAP HR Renewal

  and

  Fiori apps

  related to payroll.
• Exposure to

  international payroll

  processes is a plus.
