SAP FPSL Consultant

Role Overview

• We are seeking an experienced SAP FPSL Consultant with strong functional and technical expertise in Financial Products Subledger (FPSL)
• The role requires deep exposure to banking domain processes, sub-ledger application development, and large-scale FPSL implementations, along with solid hands-on skills in SAP ABAP and SAP HANA development
• This position involves implementing complex accounting processes, developing custom FPSL solutions using the CVPM framework, and working on enterprise banking transformation programs

Key Responsibilities

• SAP FPSL Functional & Technical
• Implement and support SAP FPSL for large banking and financial institutions
• Work on sub-ledger application development including Credit Cards, Loans, and Risk systems
• Implement FPSL accounting processes such as:
• Accruals
• Fair Value Measurement
• FX Revaluations
• Financial posting logic
• Develop and enhance custom FPSL requirements using the CVPM Framework
• Ensure compliance with IFRS9, GAAP, and regulatory accounting standards
• Collaborate with Risk, Finance, and IT teams for end-to-end sub-ledger solutions
• SAP ABAP & HANA Development
• Develop applications using SAP ABAP and SAP HANA SQL
• Work with SAP HANA XSA Web IDE for development and deployment
• Design and optimize HANA database objects, views, and SQL for performance
• Participate in DevOps-based development, deployment, and monitoring processes
• Collaboration & Documentation
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and specifications
• Work closely with functional consultants, architects, and business users
• Prepare design, development, testing, and deployment documentation

Required Skills & Experience

• FPSL Expertise (Mandatory)
• 6+ years experience in Banking / Financial Services domain
• Hands-on SAP FPSL implementation experience
• Strong knowledge of sub-ledger application development
• Experience with FPSL accounting processes:
• Accruals
• Fair Value Adjustments
• FX Revaluations
• Experience developing custom logic using CVPM Framework
• Strong understanding of IFRS9 and GAAP
• Technical Skills (Mandatory)
• Strong programming skills in SAP ABAP
• Proficiency in SAP HANA SQL, database concepts, and performance tuning
• Hands-on experience with SAP HANA XSA Web IDE
• Experience working in DevOps environments

Good to Have

• Exposure to SAP Finance modules or SAP Analytics tools
• Experience in large-scale banking transformation programs
• Agile / iterative project delivery experience
