Job Description

SAP FICO Testing Lead

Location:

Role Overview:

SAP FICO Testing Lead

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the
SAP FICO testing lifecycle
test planning, scripting, execution, defect management, and reporting.
Review business requirements and translate them into effective test strategies and test cases.
Handle
test estimation
and resource planning for SAP FICO modules.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and clients to ensure testing covers all functional and integration scenarios.
Utilize
test management tools
for planning, tracking, and reporting.
Guide and mentor testing teams, ensuring quality deliverables within timelines.
Provide expertise on where and how to leverage
test automation tools
for SAP FICO processes.
Participate in client discussions, status meetings, and stakeholder reporting.
Ensure defects are tracked, analyzed, and resolved efficiently.

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years
of overall testing experience, with at least
8+ years in SAP FICO testing
.
Strong hands-on experience in
test scripting and execution
.
Proven track record of
leading testing teams
and handling client interactions.
Proficiency in
test management tools
(e.g., HP ALM, Jira, Solution Manager, etc.).
Strong understanding of
SAP FICO business processes
.
Expertise in preparing and reviewing test estimations, strategies, and reports.
Good knowledge of
test automation concepts and tools
for SAP FICO.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have:

Exposure to other SAP modules and integration testing.
Experience with Agile / DevOps methodologies.
Knowledge of Worksoft or similar SAP automation tools.
