SAP FICO - India - 6+ Months - 100% remote - Start ASAP

For our client, an internationally active company in the machinery and plant engineering sector, we are looking for an experienced SAP FI/CO Consultant with a focus on Indian localization requirements to support the implementation of SAP FI/CO.

Main Task:

Support the implementation of SAP FI/CO S/4 HANA in India, with a strong focus on compliance with local requirements, especially the Indian tax system (GST – Goods and Services Tax).

Responsibilities:

- Functional consulting during the implementation of SAP FI and CO for the Indian legal entity

- Support with the implementation of country-specific tax and compliance requirements (especially GST)

- Evaluation and localization of global templates and system concepts to meet Indian legal and business needs

- Assist in test case definition and execution during the current sandbox phase

- Collaboration with local tax advisors, auditors, and international project teams

- Guidance on technical setup, including reporting, compliance, and statutory interfaces

In Scope:

- SAP FI/CO functional expertise, with hands-on experience in localization for India

- Configuration and consulting around GST (including HSN/SAC codes, E-Invoicing, TDS, etc.)

- Support with customizing activities, testing, and rollout preparation

- Advisory on integration into the existing system landscape and compliance architecture

Requirements:

- Proven project experience in SAP FI/CO S/4 HANA implementations, ideally in international rollouts

- Strong knowledge of Indian SAP FI/CO localizations and regulatory requirements (e.g., GST, TDS, E-Invoicing)

- Familiarity with local accounting and tax regulations in India

- Experience working with both international and local stakeholders

- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken

Project Details:

- Start: ASAP

- Duration: 6 months (extension possible)

- Workload: 2 Days/ Week - Remote

- Location: Remote (some availability for meetings with India; travel optional)

- Language: English
