Job Description

As an SAP FI-CO Functional Consultant, your role involves facilitating the implementation and support of SAP Financials with a focus on FICO Controlling. This includes handling tasks such as Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project System, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month End Close, Overhead assessment, and settlement. Your responsibilities will also include performing detailed analysis of complex business process requirements, facilitating workshops to collect business requirements, mapping client business requirements, and developing necessary product modifications to meet client needs. You will design, customize, configure, and test FI/CO modules, identify gaps and issues, and provide work around solutions. Additionally, you will serve as a liaison with clients for troubleshooting, document functional designs and test cases, and proactively identify business process enhancements. Key Responsibilities: - Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financials with a focus on FICO Controlling - Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements - Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements - Design, customize, configure, and test FI/CO modules - Identify gaps, issues, and provide work around solutions - Act as a liaison with clients for troubleshooting - Document functional designs, test cases, and results - Proactively identify and propose business process enhancements - Provide consulting services on new implementations and existing support projects - Act as a liaison between business functions and technical teams - Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required - Work self-directed and independently, potentially mentoring junior team members Qualifications Required: - Experience in full cycle implementation and support projects - Knowledge of FI integration points with other SAP modules like MM, HR, PP, and PM - Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects simultaneously - Experience in Professional Services or Distribution companies is an asset - Understanding of accounting business processes - Ability to comprehend business processes from a customer perspective - Strong teamwork and communication skills (Note: No additional company details were included in the job description) As an SAP FI-CO Functional Consultant, your role involves facilitating the implementation and support of SAP Financials with a focus on FICO Controlling.
