SAP FI-CO Functional Consultant

As an SAP Financials consultant focusing on FICO Controlling, your role involves facilitating the implementation and support of SAP Financials. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and providing suitable system solutions - Identifying, interpreting, validating, and documenting customer requirements - Conducting workshops to gather business requirements - Mapping client business requirements, processes, and objectives - Developing necessary product modifications to meet clients" needs - Designing, customizing, configuring, and testing FI/CO modules - Identifying gaps, issues, and providing work around solutions - Serving as a liaison with clients to troubleshoot software problems - Documenting functional designs, test cases, and results - Proactively identifying and suggesting business process and system enhancements - Providing consulting services for new implementations and existing support projects - Acting as a liaison between business functions and the technical team - Offering ad-hoc training and user support as needed - Working independently and self-directed, potentially mentoring junior team members Additionally, the desired skills and experience for this role include: - Experience in full cycle implementations and support projects - Knowledge of FI integration points with other SAP modules such as MM, HR, PP, and PM - Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects concurrently - Experience in a Professional Services or Distribution company is advantageous - Understanding of accounting business processes - Capability to comprehend business processes from a customer perspective - Proficiency in working effectively in a team environment, collaborating with others.,
