Job Summary

SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support

  end-to-end implementation

  of SAP EWM projects, including design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into

  functional specifications

  .
• Configure and customize EWM objects such as:
  
• Inbound & Outbound Processes (Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Putaway, Picking, Packing, Shipping)
  
• Warehouse Structure, Storage Types, Sections, Bins, Handling Units (HU), and Wave Management
  
• Resource Management, Slotting & Rearrangement, Yard Management, and Labor Management
  
• Implement

  RF Framework and Mobile Data Entry (MDE)

  solutions for warehouse operators.
• Integration with

  SAP MM, SD, PP, and TM modules

  for seamless supply chain execution.
• Support

  Material Flow Systems (MFS)

  and automation (conveyors, ASRS, robotics).
• Troubleshoot and resolve

  incidents, change requests, and performance issues

  .
• Prepare

  functional design documents (FDDs)

  , test scripts, and training materials.
• Collaborate with

  ABAP developers

  for custom enhancements and reports.
• Provide

  user training, UAT support, and post go-live hypercare

  .
• Stay updated with

  S/4HANA EWM innovations

  and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum

  8+ years of SAP EWM functional experience

  , with at least 23 full lifecycle implementations.
• Strong expertise in

  Inbound, Outbound, and Internal Warehouse Processes

  .
• Hands-on experience in

  Advanced EWM functionalities

  : Cross-Docking, Wave Management, VAS, Slotting, and Yard Management.
• Knowledge of

  Decentralized EWM vs. Embedded EWM

  in S/4HANA.
• Good understanding of

  RF solutions and MFS integration

  .
• Exposure to

  Warehouse Automation and Robotics

  integration (preferred).
• Strong understanding of

  integration with MM, SD, PP, TM, and GTS

  .
• Proficient in preparing

  FS, BPML, and Test Cases

  .
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  

Nice to Have

• S/4HANA

  embedded EWM

  implementation experience.
• Exposure to

  Cloud EWM and Fiori Apps

  .
• Basic knowledge of

  SAP ABAP debugging

  for issue resolution.
• Experience in

  Agile/Scrum project methodology

  .

Education

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field.
  

• SAP EWM Certification

  is an added advantage.
