SAP Data Migration Functional Consultant

The primary role as part of the Infosys consulting team involves actively aiding the team in various project phases such as problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design, and deployment. You will be required to explore alternatives to recommended solutions through research including literature surveys, information from public domains, vendor evaluation, etc., and develop POCs. Additionally, you will create requirement specifications based on business needs, define processes, and detailed functional designs. Configuring solution requirements, diagnosing issues, seeking clarifications, and identifying solution alternatives are also key responsibilities. Contribution to unit level and organizational initiatives to provide high-quality, value-adding solutions to customers is expected. Technical requirements include participation in at least one S 4 Hana data migration project, conducting workshops to define functional data migration requirements, and knowledge of cross-functional modules like OTC, P2P, PM, PP, FI. Experience in Material and Vendor Management, knowledge of P2P processes, OTC Order to Cash cycle, PM, QM, PP processes, and data migration from ECC to S 4 are essential. Awareness of the latest technologies and trends, logical thinking, problem-solving skills, collaboration ability, assessing current processes for improvement areas, suggesting technological solutions, and having industry domain knowledge are additional requirements. The role also involves working with clients to identify business challenges, contributing to client deliverables by refining, analyzing, and structuring relevant data. Preferred skills include expertise in SAP-specific data migration within the technology domain.
