SAP CO Sr. Consultant Controlling

As an experienced SAP CO Senior Consultant at Dangote Industries Limited, your role will involve managing the full lifecycle of SAP Controlling (CO) solutions. You will work closely with finance and business stakeholders to translate complex management accounting requirements into robust SAP functionalities, optimize cost flows, enhance profitability analysis, and drive business value through insightful financial data. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate extensively with finance business users to understand, analyze, and document complex management accounting and controlling requirements. - Translate detailed business needs into comprehensive functional specifications and design robust, scalable SAP CO solutions. - Lead workshops and design sessions to validate requirements, propose solutions, and gain consensus. - Perform hands-on configuration and customization across various SAP CO sub-modules, including Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis. - Actively lead or participate in all phases of SAP project lifecycle, taking ownership of deliverables related to Controlling. - Develop test cases and scripts for SAP CO functionalities, lead testing phases, and resolve complex issues encountered during testing. - Develop training materials, conduct training sessions, and maintain detailed documentation. - Possess a strong understanding of integration points between SAP CO and other core SAP modules. - Provide Level 2/3 support for SAP CO modules, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and mentor junior consultants. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional accounting qualification is preferred. - Minimum 8-10 years of dedicated SAP CO Consultant experience. - Experience in full lifecycle SAP implementation projects or significant enhancement projects. - Deep expertise across all SAP CO sub-modules and hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Management Accounting. - Technical proficiency in SAP CO module configurations, management accounting principles, and writing functional specifications. - Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
