SAP Basis Team Lead

As an SAP BASIS - HANA-S/4 HANA professional at this global IT services and consulting company, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day production support and working on various projects. Your strong Basis technical knowledge and hands-on experience in the Installation, Upgrade, and Support of Global SAP Systems are essential for this role. You will work with a variety of SAP Products such as ECC, BW, APO, Live cache, CRM, PI/PO, Portal, BOBJ, BODS, Fiori, Content Server, and Solution Manager. Additionally, you will need to have working experience in Operating Systems like SUSE Linux/AIX and Windows all server versions. Your responsibilities will also include System Admin activities such as performance monitoring/tuning, transports, background job setup, applying support packages, kernel upgrades, OSS notes, printer setup, client copy, system refresh activities, etc. Moreover, your deep technical skills in HANA, DB2, and Oracle Administration, along with troubleshooting skills, will be crucial for the role. You will also work with tools like ServiceNow for Incident, Problem, and Change Management Processes. Furthermore, you will assist team members in developing and implementing technical solutions (Implementations, Upgrades, and Migrations) and support ongoing projects. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide day-to-day production support and work on various projects. - Utilize strong Basis technical knowledge for Installation, Upgrade, and Support of Global SAP Systems. - Work with a range of SAP Products and Operating Systems. - Perform System Admin activities including performance monitoring/tuning, transports, background job setup, etc. - Utilize deep technical skills in HANA, DB2, and Oracle Administration. - Work with tools like ServiceNow for Incident, Problem, and Change Management Processes. - Assist team members in technical solution development and implementation. **Qualifications:** - Top 3 skills required: BASIS, Deep technical skills in HANA, DB2 & Oracle Administration. - Work location: Chennai. - Shift timings: India/UK India. - Immediate joiners only. - Experience required: 8+ years. - Work mode: Hybrid.
