Job Description

SAP Labs India is seeking a highly motivated

SAP BASIS Security Lead

with a strong technical foundation in

SAP BASIS administration

and

system security management

. The role involves delivering consistent, high-performing SAP systems that support critical business operations, with responsibility for system availability, performance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide
24x7 rotational support
for SAP landscapes ensuring high availability and performance.
Monitor SAP systems using
Focused Run (FRUN)
or
Cloud ALM
, identifying issues and driving proactive remediation.
Conduct
system health checks
for production and non-production environments.
Manage
data growth
,
archiving
, and
partitioning
strategies with trend analysis and optimization recommendations.
Ensure robust
security monitoring
,
patch management
, and
compliance
with corporate security standards.
Administer
transport management
via
ChaRM
or
CTMS
.
Perform
system installations
,
upgrades
,
system copies
, and
kernel upgrades
.
Support
batch jobs
,
interfaces
, and
channel monitoring
across systems.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide
root cause analysis (RCA)
.
Maintain comprehensive
system documentation
, configurations, and maintenance records.

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 2+ years
of hands-on experience in
SAP BASIS Administration
within medium to large-scale environments.
Proven experience across
multiple SAP products
(ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PO, Solution Manager, etc.).
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and performance optimization skills.
Good understanding of
SAP kernel upgrades

system copies
, and
transport management
.
Familiarity with
security concepts
,
user administration
, and
authorization management
.
SAP BASIS certification
is a plus.
