Job Description

As a SAP BASIS consultant at KPMG in India, your role will involve providing technical support and leadership for SAP systems. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the SAP environment to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability. Your key responsibilities will include: - Proficiently utilizing SAP BASIS administration tools and techniques - Demonstrating knowledge of SAP architecture, components, and modules - Conducting SAP system installation, configuration, upgrade, migration, backup, and recovery - Managing SAP user administration and authorization - Overseeing SAP transport management system - Implementing SAP performance tuning and optimization strategies - Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to SAP systems - Being familiar with various operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) To excel in this role, you should possess good communication and interpersonal skills, have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
